Sorry to have taken so long to do a follow-up report. Time has been going past so fast, I can't keep up or maybe it is I am slowing down. LOL

Micky and her brother have been spending most of their summer holidays with me this year. We have been having a good time. Micky passed into grade 2 and Matthew into grade 4. They are growing up so fast.

On July 18, I took Micky to the cancer clinic for an appointment to be tested and everything came back normal. Now she doesn't have to go back till Jan. 04 for her next follow up test. :-)

The chemo she was receiving has caused a few problems. She has been getting tested for learning disabilities as per chemo damage. Slight learning disabilities, so not as bad as it could have been.

Micky was on medication to get rid of her anxieties and to get her to relax and talk as she had no friends because she chose not to talk because she was afraid. The medication made her goofy and weird so she was taken off of it; but, she was on it long enough to get her to open up and now she is communicating better. She talks lots here and does all the talking for her brother and herself. LOL

Micky is making a scrapbook of all her cancer photos and memories with her Mom.

Micky found out her other Grandma is very sick with cancer and is not doing well and Micky is taking that very hard and she is scared her cancer will come back too.

All in all Micky is a beautiful little girl that has gone through more than any little child should ever have to go through; but, she has turned out to be like any other normal little 7 year old girl. She will have to be tested for the rest of her life in case this cancer comes back. Hopefully it will never come back and Micky will live a long normal life. :-)
